We can create our own style in our business with a good table setting.
To continue with the previous post about table setting, once the plates and cutlery have been placed, the second items to be placed are the glasses and napkins.
Glasses
The formal order is the largest glass for serving water; to its right, you should place the red wine glass, followed by the white wine glass. Finally, if there is a cava glass, you should place it next to the white wine glass. Another correct rule for placing glasses can be by order of service.
The glasses are placed in front of the plate. They can be arranged in a straight line, diagonally to the plate, or in a curve. Always slightly offset to the right of the diner so as not to take up their entire front space.
All glasses must be from the same glassware set, sharing the same design, shape, cut, and color.

Typically, only one water glass and one wine glass are placed. In restaurants, these are usually the glassware pieces placed by default. Later, more glasses can be provided, or they can be changed for different ones depending on the drink requested by the client. When changing wine brands or vintages, the glasses should also be changed.
Furthermore, if there is a minor diner who cannot drink alcohol, the wine glasses should be removed.
To finish the meal, a liqueur can be offered, which will be served in a smaller glass or liqueur glass.
If coffee is to be served during the meal, the cup and saucer must be placed to the right of the smallest glass.
If you only serve coffee with dessert, there is no need to place the cup from the beginning.
It is not necessary to place the coffee cup from the beginning if it will only be served with dessert.
The glasses must be clean and transparent, avoiding scratched or damaged pieces.
The correct cleaning of glasses and cups are elements that can help you impress your customers and make them want to return to your establishment. Our glass polishers will provide you with professional and completely hygienic drying.
Napkins
They are an essential element, whether for a formal event or any other less formal celebration.
The napkins must be made of cloth and match the tablecloth. You should place them on top of the plate or to the left of the first fork.
They can be presented rolled cylindrically or with decorative folds to give them a nicer touch.
The napkin should not be placed inside the glass; this is not elegant at all.
Now your table is perfectly set to welcome your guests! Greet them with a big smile. Don't forget that good service is fundamental.
